%X The Public Education Network and Education Week have released their annual poll surveying the degree to which the American public takes responsibility for public education. The national survey found that Americans rank public education second only to the economy and jobs as a priority, and that every demographic segment of the population is willing to pay higher taxes to improve public education. The report also reveals that voters have become increasingly aware of the No Child Left Behind Act, and increasingly concerned about some of its provisions. Lots of interesting data, and you can browse summaries on line.
