I want to take a moment to enlist your support with our project, The Odyssey Initiative. We are looking for recommendations for schools and teachers whose programs and instruction the country should know more about.

The Odyssey Initiative was created to raise the level of discussion surrounding teaching and learning in America. As an organization, our core beliefs are:

1. Educators should be at the center of school reform.

2. Innovation in education is not limited to one type of school.

3. Progressive educational practices can benefit all students and lead to high academic performance by any measure, including high stakes testing.

Next year, we will embark on a journey that will take us to exemplary schools and classrooms in all 50 states.

We are seeking schools to visit and are enlisting a variety of stakeholders in the education world to help us compile a list of schools that span the country. If you can find a moment to help our project with any recommendations for our visits, we would be so very grateful.
