In this 2001 article from NMSA's "Middle Ground" magazine, staff developer and former Alabama Teacher of the Year Anne Jolly reflected on her exploration of faculty study groups, beginning with the model developed by Carlene Murphy and evolving into a hybrid she calls "Professional Learning Teams." This repost of the article, "Improving Instruction Through Collaboration," includes additional resources and links to related works by Jolly, a TLN member who now leads educator quality work for SERVE, the southeastern regional education laboratory.
