We seldom tout products for sale, but here's a fascinating two-DVD set of PBS shows about a principal who's a "turnaround specialist" in Richmond, VA. After 31 years as a principal in top performing suburban public high schools, Parke Land moved to the inner city to try his hand at 'turning around' a struggling middle school. This series has earned the praise of folks in our Teacher Leaders Network for its ability to get at some core issues that face struggling schools. The DVD set is only $8.95, including shipping.
