Looking for ways to improve student learning through the effective use of technology? Browse this newly expanded collection of resources at Intel's Innovation in Education website to develop and adapt project approaches in your own technology-supported units. You'll find a collection of nearly 60 unit plans developed by teachers who have participated in the Intel Teach to the Future program. This link leads to a webpage that introduces three "thinking tools" that promote and support higher order thinking skills development. Teacher Leaders Network member Georgia Abeyounis writes: "Run the demos and learn how to use the Visual Ranking Tool, Seeing Reason Tool and Showing Evidence Tool. It's awesome getting students involved with thinking lessons that utIlize Bloom's and Marzano's thinking skills." Create your own teacher account and you'll have a workspace to generate fully integrated units. There's also a companion workbook, additional professional development opportunities, and a path to becoming a trainer yourself.
