Our TLN discussion group has been talking about grading for most of the summer. The subject of rubrics has come up more than once, and several TLN'ers have noted that rubrics come in all shapes, sizes and levels of quality. So we went hunting for resources that might help teachers and other instructional leaders think more deeply about "getting rubrics right."
